Disciple Killers

This ongoing battle requires spiritual discipline and reliance on God. Finally, Pastor Rod uncovers the tactics of The Devil (2 Corinthians 11:3), tracing his deceptive nature back to the Garden of Eden. The devil often disguises his attacks to lead believers away from pure devotion to Christ. However, Pastor Rod reminds us that victory over the devil is possible through the authority of God's Word and the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. This sermon is a powerful reminder of the spiritual warfare we face and the tools we have in Christ to overcome these "Disciple Killers."

As Jesus forms his leadership team and begins his earthly ministry his mandate is simple but costly “follow me”. To follow Jesus is never easy but always worth it. To follow Jesus is to surrender to the mission of not only being a disciple but also of making disciples. In the next several weeks we are going to look to Jesus to explore what it truly means to lay down our life, pick up our cross, and follow him.
