Opportunity pt. 4: Opportunity to leave a legacy

The story of Esther shows us that we all have the opportunity to leave a legacy, no matter the circumstances. Her story isn't a promise that hard times aren't coming, it's a promise that God will use us in the midst of those hard times. What if the greatest lesson for us in this season is not what we learn, but what we unlearn?

Opportunity

Opportunity. It might seem like there's not much of that to be found right now. But what if the opposite was actually true? Sure, we all feel pretty out of control, lost, anxious, and scared in this season, but what if instead of letting those feelings overwhelm us, we focused on the opportunities right in front of us that are unique to this season? The opportunity to really get to know our kids. The opportunity to connect with our spouse in a whole new way. The opportunity to step out and love our neighbors like never before. The word "unity" is right there in "opportunity"—let's use this time as just that: an opportunity to find more unity in our families, our communities, and our world.
