I was raised in Bakersfield, CA. After high school, I moved a couple of times before settling in Aberdeen, SD. Though I believed in Christ as a teenager, I truly didn't begin serving Him until I was in college. Through a series of God-ordained events, Jesus grabbed my heart and showed me what it meant to be His true disciple. In 2002 I married my wife Anne, and over the course of the next several years, God blessed us with three beautiful children. In 2005 we started attending a church plant in Aberdeen called New Life Fellowship. After volunteering at the church for a couple of years I was asked to come on staff. It was in this season of ministry that I began and completed seminary coursework. In 2011 I became the lead pastor at New Life and, by God’s grace, have been able to proclaim the good news of His son, Jesus. I am completely humbled to be able to make the name of Jesus great through preaching and teaching in and outside the walls of this church. My hope for this church is that it continues to be a light in the midst of darkness and bring glory to God by making more disciples.
