Unsettled pt. 6: Redeeming Rahab

God uses the story of Rahab the prostitute to teach us that no matter who you are or what you've been through, God can and will use you. God's love is not contingent on your behavior. Instead, just like Rahab, God sent Jesus to forgive your past and redeem your future.

Unsettled

If there's one word for how we're all feeling right now it would probably be this: unsettled. Being unsettled isn't a comfortable feeling. It's jarring. It's unsure. It's scary. If you're a recent graduate looking towards college or getting a job you're feeling unsettled. If you're a parent trying to raise kids right now you're feeling unsettled. If you're an elderly person wondering what the world will look like for you tomorrow you're feeling unsettled. We're all feeling this unsettled-ness in the world right now, and even though unsettled isn't a comfortable place to live in, it is a place where God does some of his best work. This summer we'll be looking at a few of the most iconic characters in the Bible—Abraham, Joshua, David, just to name a few—and seeing how God took their unsettled circumstances and did something amazing with their lives. Whatever you're walking through right now (and we're all walking through a lot), don't doubt that God can, and will, use you in this season of feeling unsettled. Let's get ready to watch him move!
