Testing the Spirits

There are three tests we need to identify truth versus lies. They help us identify a false prophet who deliberately pushes us away from God's Word. The first test is the Bible test - if the Bible isn't the standard, what is? The next test is the Jesus test and we need to consider who He was and how He taught us to live. The last is the Holy Spirit test - how is the Holy Spirit speaking in your life when things come at you? We must also equip our children with these tests so they don't take on life with naivety when they leave the nest.
