Walking in the Light

The first sermon in our study in 1 John and looking at what John shared with the local church about God. In 1 John 1:5, he shares God is Light and in Him, there is no darkness. Light brings healing and revealing. We are all broken and broken can't fix broken, we need God. If we are walking in darkness we are lying to ourselves, lying to God and practicing the truth. Alternatively, when we walk in light we confess our sins, we are forgiven and we have freedom from our sins. Pastor Rodney concludes the sermon by suggesting we ask ourselves if we're walking in darkness or light.
